Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Maintaining Virginian’s Independence At The Highest Level of Care

Located In Richmond, Virginia & Via Online Telehealth

An Intense Program for Intense Results

This focused and structured approach to mental health treatment, provides individuals with the support they need while allowing them to maintain their daily responsibilities by being an outpatient program where patients are not required to stay in a residential facility. The intensive program involves a rigorous therapy schedule of both group and individual therapy sessions for two to three hours a day, three to five days a week. This intensive level of care is designed to address significant mental health challenges in a concentrated timeframe, with the program usually lasting four to six weeks. By offering frequent and in-depth therapeutic sessions, our IOP helps individuals make substantial progress in a shorter period, equipping them with the tools and strategies necessary for long-term recovery and stability.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program Treats Psychological Conditions Such As:

Depression

Depression

Depression is a complex mental health condition characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It often impacts one’s ability to function effectively in daily life, leading to difficulties in relationships, work, and overall well-being. Symptoms of depression can include changes in sleep and appetite, fatigue, trouble concentrating, and suicidal thoughts. Effective treatment for depression is essential and typically involves a combination of therapeutic interventions that address both the emotional and cognitive aspects of the disorder. By engaging in a comprehensive treatment program, individuals can gain valuable tools and strategies to manage their symptoms, improve their mood, and work toward lasting recovery.
