In-Home Services In Virginia For Youth & Adolescents Who Are At Risk of Out Home Placement
It is estimated that 75-80 percent of children and youths with mental health illnesses do not receive needed services. Untreated mental illness can lead to serious mental and behavioral health issues accompanied by challenging family consequences.
Intensive In-Home Services in Virginia
Our intensive in-home services in Virginia focuses on children and adolescents between the ages of 5 to 18, who are at risk of out home placement due to behavioral, mental health or substance use problems, in addition to children between the ages 5 to 18, who are transitioning from an out of home placement. Services are geared to address issues including but not limited to; poor problem solving skills, and poor interpersonal relationship building skills.
Services included with our intensive in-home treatment:
Mental Health Evaluations
Get an assessment and overview of your child’s mental health status.
Individual & Family Counseling
In-Home therapy for both individuals and families. Get the support that you and your family deserve right at home to overcome challenging mental health conditions.
Parenting Skills
Our team can work with you to learn new skills to better manage challenges brought on by your child’s mental and behavioral health concerns.
Life/Independent Living Skills
Our therapists will work with your child to build more independent living skills.
Crisis Intervention
Crises can occur for anyone with a mental illness at any time. Our crisis line is 24/7 and our therapists are here to support your family when a crisis arises.
Conflict Resolution & Anger Management
You and your family can learn to resolve conflict in a new way. Our team will help you to learn new conflict resolution skills and manage anger so that conflicts are less harmful and more productive.

- Children or adolescents who are at-risk of an out of home placement.
