Help Delivered Quickly When You Need It Most
A mental health crisis can happen to anyone, at any time. Dealing with these crises effectively and quickly can mean the difference between remaining safe and comfortable in your home, and ending up in a hospital while your life goes unmanaged. Mobile Crisis Response provides rapid response, assessment and intervention to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This service is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By traveling to the location of the crisis, we not only provide immediate care but can prevent further exacerbation of symptoms that would normally worsen by the time someone has their next reguarly scheduled appointment. Our professionals develop an immediate plan to maintain safety, prevent harm to the individual’s self or others, and help prevent the need for a higher level of care.

When
Provide rapid response to individuals experiencing a crisis situation or escalating emotional & behavioral symptoms which have impacted the individual’s ability to function in their family, living situation, community, school, or work environment.
Where
Meet individuals in crisis in an environment where they are comfortable to engage to facilitate quick relief and resolution of the crisis when possible. We travel to the individual, which eliminates the need for transportation and provides quicker relief.
Why
BHSVA’s mission is to provide appropriate care, support, and supervision in order to maintain safety for the individual and others, while avoiding unnecessary law enforcement involvement, emergency room utilization, and avoidable hospitalization.
How
Deployed in real-time to the location of the identified crisis and coordinate with all medically necessary behavioral health services and supports (including pre-admission screening in appropriate cases conducted by a DBHDS certified prescreener).
